Aristóteles Luiz Menezes Vasconcellos Drummond - 62, is career professional in journalism, public relations and business management. He worked in the private sector as Advisor to the Executive Board of Banco Nacional (1963-70), and Managing Director of Irad Assessoria e Consultoria Ltda, from 1973. In the government of Guanabara State (in the Negrão de Lima administration), he was Chairman and a Director of Cohab-GB, Advisor to the State Government Secretary, and Divisional Director in the State’s Public Works Department. In the federal government he was Advisor and Head of the Private Office of the Mining and Energy Minister (1980-84). He was Administrative Director of Light S.A. (1985), a member of the Board of Directors of the Metrô (subway) of Rio de Janeiro (1985), Centrais Elétricas do Norte S.A. (1996), Manaus Energia S.A. (1997), and Boa Vista Energia S.A. (1997). He was a member, and Chairman, of the Audit Board of Vale do Rio Doce (1986-88); and a member of the Audit Board of Petrofértil S.A. He is a Specialized Judge in the Rio de Janeiro Regional Labor Appeal Court (1994-97).
